We are happy to join with Schools Plus and Commonwealth Bank in congratulating Montello Primary School teacher, Daniel Edwards, on winning a 2022 Commonwealth Bank Teaching Award.
It is wonderful that Daniel’s dedication and passion for teaching is recognised by being awarded this Teaching Fellowship.
Daniel is a passionate STEM specialist teacher who helped develop Montello Primary School’s “Makerspace”, encouraging an interest in and opportunities for students to engage in Science Technology Engineering and Math related activities.
Daniel’s commitment to teaching extends beyond the classroom. He encourages students to participate in STEM challenges and team competitions, often taking on the role as the team coach. Daniel also volunteers his time and knowledge as a judge for video game and robotics conferences across the state and at STEM expos.
Congratulations Mr Edwards on this fantastic opportunity for professional development!
