Applications for the Sure Start scholarship with UTAS are still open and will close on 28 February.
The Sure Start scholarships have been established by the Tasmanian Government through the Department for Education, Children and Young People and in partnership with the University of Tasmania.
The Scholarship provides up to $15,000 ($5,000 per year up to 3 years) for young people who have experienced out-of-home care to pursue or continue their education and career endeavours.
The Scholarship is available to students undertaking undergraduate study in any Bachelor degree, or University Preparation Program, or Diploma of University Studies at the University of Tasmania in Semester 1, 2025.
