We have partnered with the DAISY Foundation to introduce the DAISY Award through the School Health Nurse Program.
The DAISY Award is internationally recognised in the nursing community. It is available in 38 countries and celebrates the excellent and compassionate care nurses give each and every day.
This is the first time anywhere in the world that the Award will be available in an educational setting.
Nominations are currently open and will close on 13 June. Anyone in a school community can nominate a school health nurse who they believe has made a positive impact and meaningful difference.
This could be by supporting an individual student or introducing a program that has improved health and wellbeing outcomes in a school.
To nominate a nurse, complete the online nomination form. If you would prefer to fill in a hard copy form, you can ask your local school for a copy.
