Bothwell District High School is an hour north west of Hobart, on the eastern side of the town of Bothwell. Students from Kindergarten to Year 12 share the large and peaceful grounds. They enjoy recently renovated general learning spaces. They have full access to the Australian Curriculum and a selection of TASC courses for Years 11 and 12. The school has close ties with the community. This results in extra activities for students. The school is currently revitalising its school farm. Food and Fibre learning will be embedded for all students from Kinder to Year 12. There is a new purpose built Year 11/12 building.

Bothwell District High School is also a member of the Derwent Collective partnership. This partnership actively works to facilitate shared enrolments across the Collective. This gives students access to a broader range of subject areas while still maintaining their connection to their community.

All courses listed in this Course Guide are intended offerings only and availability for the selected year will depend on enrolment numbers. VET offerings are also subject to suitability processes and MoU arrangements. Please contact the school or college to determine current availability.
