Virtual Learning Tasmania is operating within Tasmanian eSchool as 'VLT@Tasmanian eSchool'. It provides online learning opportunities for all Year 11-12 students in Tasmania. Learners can enrol in courses not offered at their school or college. This enables schools to meet students' personalised learning needs. VLT teachers use blended learning pedagogies to deliver courses in synchronous sessions. Synchronous delivery is where the teacher and students are online at the same time. This combines the benefits of:
- face-to-face delivery, and
- the advantages of an online environment.
