Program description
This program combines flexible online learning with collaborative live sessions to build both skills and community.
The following modules are to be completed in order:
1. Mentoring Essentials – Online module (120 minutes). Participants can access this module at any time, and your progress will be saved should you need to resume later.
2. Community of Practice – Live online session. After completing the first module, participants can register for this interactive session where we will build a supportive mentoring community.
3. Mentoring in Practice – Online module. This module focuses on the mentoring process, providing practical resources to guide mentors in supporting Pre-Service Teachers, Early Career Teachers, and Provisionally Registered Teachers progressing to Full Registration. Your progress will be saved should you need to resume later.

Program outcomes
- Identify and demonstrate key mentoring qualities.
- Apply effective communication techniques to build trust, support mentee engagement, and foster productive mentoring conversations.
- Provide constructive, actionable feedback that supports mentee growth, confidence, and reflective practice.
- Understand and implement the mentoring process, including goal setting, planning, monitoring progress, and evaluating outcomes.
