Course description

Early Language skills are a predictor of later reading success and pave the way for learning to read. This Moderation Day workshop will provide information about how vocabulary is acquired in the early years, and how those working with children and families can enhance vocabulary learning.

Through interactive activities and break out discussions, participants will explore evidence-based strategies, along with opportunities to review and plan for the children they work with.

Participants can join as a group or individually. Those joining individually will be placed in an online group with others for collaborative tasks.
