  • Previous experience is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Dance 2

  • Skills/experience on an instrument/ voice.
  • Some ability to read and write music is an advantage.

Music Studies 2

  • To be willing to work on audio projects.

  • Further study in Music Technology Projects (University Connections Program).

  • No previous experience.
  • A strong commitment to teamwork, rehearsal and performance obligations.

  • No previous experience
  • An interest in the technical aspects of theatre
  • To enjoy participating in a range of practical theatrical experiences, both individually and in group situations

  • Further study in VET courses

You have

An interest in: 
  • Making and viewing visual art.
  • Learning visual art skills and techniques.
  • traditional, modern and contemporary art forms.
*Prior visual arts experience is recommended

TASC course

Visual Art 2

May lead to

  • Visual Art 3, Art Theory and Criticism 3, Art Studio Practice 3.
  • Further study and/or employment.

You have

  • Art Production 3 (or equivalent)

May lead to

  • A pathway to tertiary study at TasTAFE or university.

You have

  • An interest in visual art, art history and critical analysis.
  • Competent English writing and research skills.

May lead to

  • Further study in the visual arts through vocational or tertiary pathways.
  • A career in the creative and cultural industries.

You have

  • A strong interest in choreography and creative movement, prior dance training or successful completion of Dance 2.
  • A strong commitment to teamwork, rehearsal and performance obligations.
  • Sound literacy skills.

TASC course

Dance 3

May lead to

  • Further study in dance through vocational or tertiary pathways.
  • A career in dance or dance associated fields.

You have

  • Drama 2 or considerable experience in the performing arts
  • Good writing skills
  • A keen interest and experience in drama
  • A strong commitment to teamwork, rehearsal and performance obligations

TASC course

Drama 3

May lead to

  • Further study in Theatre Performance 3.

You have

  • A strong interest in media production.
  • Technical skills in an area of specialisation and strong written skills are an advantage.

May lead to

  • Further studies at university level.

You have

  • Strong music literacy skills– the ability to read and write music.
  • Considerable and successful experience in music (e.g. successful completion of Year 10 music).

TASC course

Music 3

May lead to

  • Further music studies at university level.

You have

  • To have successfully completed Drama 3 (or equivalent)
  • A strong commitment to teamwork, rehearsal and performance obligations

May lead to

  • Further study at university level in the performing arts and/or a career in performing arts or entertainment industries

You have

An interest in: 
  • Specialising and refining visual art skills.
  • A visual arts career in the creative and cultural sector.
  • Prior experience in Australian Curriculum Years 9-10 Visual Arts or Visual Art Level 2 is recommended.

Visual Art 3

  • Art Theory and Criticism 3 or Art Studio Practice 3.
